Matariki Festival
The inaugural Matariki Festival from 15 June to 22 July was a huge success, defying winter with thousands of visitors over the five weeks from Picton, Marlborough and beyond – for ice skating, dancing, light and music show, and businesses getting in the spirit with shop displays and activities. It was also the first zero waste and sustainable festival in Marlborough! We are already planning it, bigger and better, for next year, so join the team! We have our own website www.matarikifestival.com and social media pages.

If you’re keen to be involved please get in touch by emailing your contact details to Nicci at info@pictonsmartandconnected.co.nz . We will be holding the first planning meeting for 2019 in the next few weeks. For more information on the festival please check out our website www.matarikifestival.com or follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/MatarikiFestivalPicton/ or on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/matariki_festival/
