Visitor Economy
This is a proactive group with some big achievements already under its belt, such as the Cruise Ship Think Tank to anticipate and minimise the impacts on our local community of massive cruise ship visits, and ensure a great visitor experience long term. Our volunteer team also gathered local input to influence council’s Welcome to Picton signage – the imagery, text, and dual language – ours are the only signs in Marlborough with a greeting in Maori!

We have new ideas to boost visitor activity to benefit Picton – come join our team!
